Siddhidatri is the ninth form of the nine forms of Durga. Siddhidatri is worshiped and worshiped on the ninth day of the Navratri festival. Siddhidatri Form

Maa Siddhidatri has 8 Siddhis Anima, Mahima, Prapti, Prakamya, Garima, Laghima, Ishitva, and Vashitva. Maa Siddhidatri is seated on a lotus. Maa has four hands. The mother holds a conch, mace, lotus flower, and disc in her hands. Maa Siddhidatri is also considered to be the form of the goddess Saraswati.

Story of Siddhidatri

According to mythological beliefs, once there was darkness in the entire universe. A small ray appeared in that darkness. Gradually this ray grew bigger and then it took the form of a divine woman. Maa Siddhidatri appeared and gave birth to the Trinity i.e. Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. Lord Shiva worshiped this Goddess. The Goddess bestowed upon him siddhis. For this reason, the ninth form of Goddess Maa Bhagwati was called Maa Siddhidatri. By the grace of Goddess Siddhidatri, half of Lord Shiva’s body belonged to the Goddess due to which he got the name Ardhanarishwar.

On Navami day, wake up early in the morning and after worshiping Kalash and other deities, as usual, worship Mata Siddhidatri. Offer roli, kumkum, Akshat, betel nut, betel nut, pair of cloves, cardamom, Batasha, incense, lamp, flowers, clothes, and Dakshina to the Maa. Light incense and lamps. Offer halwa, puri, and gram.
