Balaram Purnima Story

According to the legend, a Gwaleen woman in a village was pregnant. There was some time left for her delivery. But regardless of her condition, she set out to sell milk and curd. Hal Shashthi was also on the same day. After resting for some time, Golin returned to his work again. Due to this, the fast of the people observing Hal Shashthi was broken.

Due to Gwenlin’s mistake, her child lying under the strawberries found a solution for the farmer. When the farmer heard the child crying, he became very sad and ran away with the stitches on the strawberry thorns. When Gwaleen returned he found his child dead.

Seeing his child he remembered his sin. She immediately told the whole story to the people and also told about the condition of her child. When he apologized thus, all the villagers forgave him. When the milkmaid returned to the same place, her child was alive and playing.
