Ratan Tata was born on the day 28 December 1937 in Surat. His father is Naval Tata and his mother is Sooni Tata. He also has a younger brother Jimmy Tata. Ratan Tata’s father and mother separated in the 1940s when he was ten and his younger brother Jimmy was seven. After this, both the brothers were brought up by their grandmother Navajbai Tata. Under Ratan’s hegemony, the Tata Group scaled new heights.
