Vidyarambh is made up of two words Vidya and Aarambh, this word signifies the beginning of education. Vidya is something that can give power to every person. Every person can gain power through education. It includes both intellectual ability and knowledge. Like all other sanskars, Vidyarambh Sanskar is also performed after the birth of a child. The education of the child is as important as his naming.
Although most people nowadays do not believe in Vidyarambh Muhurat 2025, there are still some families who believe in performing puja for the blessings and good wishes of God for the good start of children. There are some important rituals and traditions for Vidyarambh Muhurat 2025, which are not performed in just one day. In Hindu culture, an auspicious muhurat is taken out for almost everything. The right time to do any work is called Muhurta.
If we compare, in earlier times, the meaning of education, the resources used for it, and the results were different, but the goal was the same. Earlier and even today, everyone’s focus was on how to get a better education and it is considered the priority. In earlier times, Vidyarambh Sanskar had a lot of importance. But today’s era is a little different, however, there are many benefits of starting schooling at the right age because this is the right and only path to knowledge.
Vidyarambha Muhurat means an auspicious Puja when the child becomes old enough to go to school. It is a prayer to Lakshmi and Ganesha by yogis and students. It increases the concentration level of the child and also gives peace and good luck to the child. It is recommended by pundits to do it at least once a year so that the person can feel connected to God, the word Vidya means knowledge. We all know that knowing is the only power that can help us to rule in our required field. So whenever we seek knowledge or start something new it is imperative to start with spirituality to mark the journey with positivity.
Some rituals and rules are being told to start Vidyarambha Sanskaar, which are appropriate to follow.
As a pre-requisite for Vidyarambha Sanskaar, it is appropriate to give the boy or girl a bath and dress him or her in clean clothes. Parents should also take a bath, meditate, and wear clean clothes.
It is appropriate to organize Ganesh Puja at the beginning of this ritual. After this, while meditating on Goddess Saraswati, one should chant the following mantra: Om pavaka nah Saraswati, Vajebhivaarjinivati. Yajna vashtudhiavasuh. Om Saraswatyai Namah. Aawahayami, sthapayami, dhyaayami.
It is appropriate to perform Guru Puja after Saraswati Puja. If no Guru is present then coconut should be worshipped as Guru.
After this, worship the items required for acquiring education like a pen, ink bottle, slate, etc. properly.
