Ear Piercing Muhurat 2025 – Karnavedha Muhurat 2025

May 30, 2024

In the Hindu religion, an auspicious ceremony is performed after the birth of a child. ‘Karnavedha’ is said after taking advice from an experienced astrologer. They have definite hints that can help us in the future. This event occurs after 28 days or more than two months. As we know Karan means ear and Veda means piercing. Piercing the ears enhances a person’s personality.

It is believed that ear piercing brings peace and gets rid of all the evil spirits from coming in the future. The process is simple, make a hole in the ear and insert a bead mainly made of gold inside it. It is also called Shodash Sanskar in Sanskrit, which means piercing the child’s lower ear. Kaathukuthu is the Hindi version of the English version. Which is also known as Kathukuthu in English.

Importance Of Ear Piercing

It is one of the auspicious events that occur after some time which has medicinal and spiritual significance. It purifies the mind and brings purity. It also gives way to sacred sound. It brings a person closer to spirituality and frees one from all kinds of forces that can harm one. Ear piercing has great importance for Indians in India. By bringing balance to the planets, many problems can be avoided in the future. This is also done to enhance the beauty of girls. They are considered lucky for their partners in the future. The left ear of a girl child is pierced first. The first ear of a human being is the ear suitable for piercing. These traditions carry certain beliefs which everyone believes in. Which helps in knowing more about their customs and traditions. This is better for the health of the child. Reminding them how important it is to have these rituals as they grow up. Instill spirituality in them.

Benefits Of Ear-Piercing Ceremony

It is believed that ear piercing cures ear problems like deafness and other ear problems. It improves emotional and physical health. This ritual should be done at the right age as it ensures the child’s participation in all exercises and proper brain development. It also maintains an excellent menstrual cycle. The flow of energy remains in a positive environment. It also helps with the constant chatter. A process that ensures that all the negative energies are released and the person remains calm and happy.

When Is Karnavedha Muhurta 2025?

Karnavedha is one of the actual Sanskars among the 16 Sanskars. This is done after the sanskar of the child and it is advised to do it at a fixed time which can help one. If this Sanskar is not performed at a fixed time then parents can perform it anywhere between 3-6 years of age of the child. For girls, ear piercing has the same importance as nose piercing. People perform this ritual in different ways. While Brahmins do it with a silver needle and Shudras do it with an iron needle. This varies from community to community. The main agenda is to deliver service on a specified date and time. Due to this, the possibility of defects in the future is reduced. It is believed that earrings regulate the electrical flow within the body. Indian doctors believe that ear piercings and earrings are considered a part of intelligence.
